Veterans Support Circle: Honouring Our Veterans

A Welcoming Haven for Veterans

Every Wednesday at 10:30 am, EACH Recovery Matters opens its doors to veterans and their families, presenting a specialised drop-in clinic spearheaded by Alison Maitland from Veterans First Point (V1P). This gathering aims to deliver essential aid and direction to veterans and their families, ensuring they have a supportive space to turn to.

Forged by Veterans, for Veterans

Veterans First Point (V1P) stands out as a groundbreaking project, shaped and realised by veterans themselves. Boasting a team of adept clinicians alongside veterans who’ve walked similar paths, V1P deeply understands the hurdles faced by those who’ve dedicated themselves to serving our country. As an NHS-affiliated service, it proudly offers its support at no cost, a testament to our collective gratitude for the sacrifices made by veterans.

Comprehensive Support Across All Fronts

The V1P drop-in clinic addresses an array of challenges that veterans and their families might encounter, including housing, career guidance post-service, substance misuse, familial and relational dynamics, health (both mental and physical), financial issues, and the need for social connectivity. Their approach is holistic, aimed at fostering recovery and overall well-being, armed with the expertise and tools necessary for meaningful support.

Prioritising Your Well-being

At EACH Recovery Matters, the health and happiness of our veterans are paramount. We recognise the difficulty of seeking help, which is why we strive to offer a warm, inviting atmosphere conducive to open and comfortable dialogue.

We invite you to join us each Wednesday morning at 10:30 am for the support you rightfully deserve. It’s our turn to serve you, honouring your commitment and sacrifice with the care and support you need to navigate the journey ahead.
