Join Us for Overdose Awareness Day 2023 – Know Your Route to Recovery!
We are excited to announce that on 31st August, the recovery community will come together for the annual Overdose Awareness Walk. This event is held worldwide to raise awareness about overdose prevention and support for those in recovery.
We invite you to join us at Patchwork Recovery Community, located at 15 Wellington Street, Kilmarnock, at 1.30pm. From there, we will embark on a walk throughout Kilmarnock, highlighting various locations where individuals can access support services. Additionally, we will provide information on how to obtain life-saving medications such as Naloxone and Nyxoid.
The walk will conclude in Howard Park, where we have arranged for inspiring guest speakers from the recovery community to share their stories of hope and resilience. It will be an opportunity to connect with others who have experienced similar journeys and celebrate the strength of our community.
We look forward to your presence at this meaningful event as we strive to create awareness and promote resources that can save lives. Together, we can make a difference.
